In February, SKE48 went on a theaters tour thus performing in AKB48 theater in Tokyo, in NMB48 theater in Osaka and for the first time in HKT48 theater in Fukuoka. Following last month KII performance in Tokyo, this month we will focus on Team S performances in Osaka and Fukuoka.

Matsui Jurina (15) who performed through the end despite being injured all over and the comrades who supported her… Their latest single 「Kataomoi Finally」sold 495.809 copies in its first week, the best sale the group ever achieved, but the truth is SKE48 has been facing a great crisis.

Fukuoka stage performance, closing day. When the show comes to an end, Jurina then on the verge of fainting is carried to the backstage by Yuasa Hiroshi SKE48 theater manager (49) and Hiramatsu Kanako (20). She couldn’t move anymore. Even though, after the performance, while the 「seeing off high five meeting」 lane was put into place, in order to stop her right leg’s convulsions —- No, in order to support her body which was menacing to collapse, she slid in the line of her comrades, both hands pinning down her right tight. Once again, she appears in front of the fans carried under members arms. Wearing a desperate smile,  high five with the spectators started. She replied with a 「Thank you very muchー!!」 to the fans loud cheers. But here, the moment the doors to the  backstage shut,  Jurina closed her eyes and was evacuated on a stretcher.

Since the beginning of February, Jurina’s physical condition had not been at its best. Tiredness accumulating, her body wouldn’t respond anymore. Because she is not only SKE48’s center but also member of AKB48’s selection, her everyday life is spent traveling back and forth between Nagoya and Tokyo. Adding to this the high school entrance exams. Since her debut at the age of 11, always full of energy even though she has been known as the shining super girl, her body and soul put under stress 24 hours a day without any refuge possible, were pushed to their utmost limit.  Inevitably, her body screamed in protest. From February 18 , handshake event day, to February 20, stage performance day at Sakae, for a whole 3 days Jurina was forced to rest.

I don’t want to cause any more troubles

Even in those circumstance, the 21th was held their first performance in Fukuoka’s theater  and 「Fans we have rarely the chance to meet with are waiting. HKT48 who inherited 「Te wo tsunaginagara」」(Team S 1st original stage) is excitedly waiting to study by observing our performance」were Jurina’s words. She had decided she wouldn’t cause further trouble. Even if her body was wounded all over, her strong sens of responsibilities  made it impossible for Jurina to consider not to perform in HKT48 theater.

Came the 22th stage performance and with it the closing day of the theaters tour, she needed to muster up her remaining strength. Under this smile brighter than the sun itself,　taping was firmly wrapped wrapped around her right leg tight and calf. Her trainer explains 「Jurina herself didn’t realize it but, when she collapsed after feeling giddy, at that time her right leg was already holding out. Thus causing her pain.」

When came the encore, the staff, praying, stared anxiously at her right leg during the highlight of 「Kataomoi Finally」, the jumping kick. The whole time the spotlights lighted up the stage, Jurina kept dancing as if nothing had happened, until the last second she proved she was a pro idol.

But it’s not like she had completely recover yet, she needs to stay vigilant. However, the simple fact of having Ace Jurina returning, the group as a whole regains its spirit somehow.

「By having Jurina stranding next to me during rehearsal today, I was at ease. I wanted to tell her “welcome home” (TL : okaeri) , so I went ahead」.

The evening of Jurina’s return, her other half as SKE star figure, Matsui Rena,  quietly typed down that single word she sent to Jurina’s private mail address. Surely, she spoke on behalf of all the members.

Even though there was a great peril, divine possession made the closing day of the theaters tour a success.  There is no doubt that, united as a group, Jurina and the members of SKE48 who overcame  Genkainada intense north wind, became stronger.
Very soon, the warm spring wind will be there, gently blowing on their backs, pushing them forward.

Satou Kazuya (?), HKT48 theater manager, went shaking hands with Team S members after their performance 「I’ve witnessed the difference in experience and power. Tonight performance was the best that has ever taken place in this theater since its opening. Honestly it’s frustrating.」 The 2nd day of SKE performance in Fukuoka, HKT48 members came to observe them 「I want  my girls to one day catch up with SKE48 and even overtake them. By all means, from now on watch over us as your younger sister group.」
