This issue is getting out of hand, really.

I don’t really like to get involved in arguments about people’s opinions but this is kind of getting out of hand.

Fans can really be cruel when it comes to another idol they don’t like, taking the spotlight.

I really don’t get what’s so damn wrong about a girl who won fair and square in some Janken Tournament to get her chance to shine as Center of a Single?

Haruka has NOT been the only one to suddenly come out of nowhere and be pushed into the spotlight. Remember Kaoru and Jurina? How about Acchan? It’s like the fans who hate on other members that are getting pushed forget that Kaoru, Jurina and Acchan were pushed just like Haruka is being pushed right now. Sure, seeing her “everywhere” can get “annoying” but that doesn’t give you a right to blame her for anything that is beyond her control. She’s been given a song to sing and dance to and that’s what she does, that also applies to all the jobs she’s given. It’s her job, and she does it to the best of her abilities.

AKB is a place for people who aspire to be idols to finally get a chance to make their wish come true. They are not all super amazing singers and dancers when they first join. Some show improvement quicker than others and their strengths show, whether it be in their vocals or in their dancing. Who are you to judge someone on whether they can dance or sing? If they made it through the auditions, Akimoto saw something in them that he thought would be good to have in AKB.

You are a fan, you listen to AKB’s music, you do NOT have to like every single member, but at least respect that every member is doing their very best to be there. They work hard and they deserve to be treated like any other person. Blaming them or accusing them about a song not being good just because you do not like them is pretty sad to be honest. If you do not like the song, the don’t listen to it. It’s just that simple. If you do not like that member, focus on supporting the members you do like.
